Delphi Systems is an Energy and Chassis plant located in Ramos Arizpe Coahuila.

Delphi Systems is a subsidiary of Delphi Corporation based in Troy, Michigan in the United States. This manufacturing plant is part of Delphi Energy and Chassis Mexican Operations and started in October of 1998 and registered as a maquiladora producing automotive components. 

Delphi Systems Saltillo Operations is a 201,337 square foot facility (built area) and purchases over 4.5 million of components and produces more than 206,500 finished goods monthly.


Deere and Co opened a new diesel engine manufacturing plant in Torreon,Coahuila Mexico, called Motores John Deere. The facility covers 490,000 sq ft and started operating in Jan 1998 with a 310-employee staff. It is capable of producing 50,000 engines annually and is equipped with the latest manufacturing equipment.

Representing the first significant investment in a new North American diesel engine manufacturing plant in an arguable number of years, the Deere Power Systems Group (DPSG) has begun production at Motores John Deere. A 490,000 sq.ft. engine manufacturing facility in Torreon, Mexico, Motores John Deere is 100 percent owned by Deere & Co. reporting through DPSG. The plant currently employs about 310 people with employment expected to be about 500 at full production.

Teksid Aluminio de México plant is located in a very strategic position, at only 125 miles from the U.S.border.

Since the beginning of its operations in January 1997, Teksid Aluminio de México has been supplying three types of cylinder blocks with co-cast liners to Chrysler plants in U.S.A., and low pressure bed plates to General Motors plants, also in U.S.A.

By the end of 2001 the facility doubleed its original size and also supply automotive components in aluminium alloys to Ford (engine heads) and Nissan (cylinder engine blocks) for their U.S.A. plants.
